To commemorate its 90th anniversary, Ducati is offering a discount of Rs 90,000 on the entire Scrambler range in India.

2016 marks Ducati’s 90th anniversary. And to commemorate the occasion, Ducati launched the stunning 1299 Panigale S Anniversario at the World Ducati Week earlier this year. As exotic as this special edition motorcycle be though, it’s of hardly any relevance to the Indian market. But, before the year comes to a close, Ducati has decided to celebrate its 90th anniversary in India, too. The Italian bike maker has announced a price cut of Rs 90,000 on the Scrambler range!

As per a statement released by the company, Ducati will be offering a discount of Rs 90,000 on all four variants of the Scrambler range, namely - Icon, Classic, Urban Enduro and Full Throttle. This means the Scrambler Icon (Red) is now priced at Rs 6.07 lakh while the rest of the range is priced at Rs 7.28 lakh. All the prices are ex-showroom, New Delhi, and are valid till December 31, 2016.

Additionally, customers can also avail special finance schemes with up to seven years of monthly installment options. This is done in partnership with Yes Bank. Ducati also says that there’s a “special-scheme” where up to three EMI payments will be reduced by the firm.

Commenting on the price deduction, Ravi Avalur, Managing Director of Ducati India said: “In little less than two years, we have achieved great growth and our entire range has been very well received by the Indian market. We would like to thank our Ducatisti and Desmo Owners Clubs for making this a very special year for us.”

The Ducati Scrambler is powered by an air-cooled 803cc L-Twin engine that develops 72bhp @ 8,250rpm and 68Nm @ 5,750rpm and comes paired to a 6-speed gearbox.
