Audi has launched its digital sales and service programme in the Indian market. In addition to usual services, Audi's online sales channel also comes with an augmented reality feature.

Joining its arch-rivals Mercedes-Benz and BMW, Audi has now launched its online sales and service initiative in India. With the new digital service, Audi India will sell new cars to prospective buyers, while the company and its dealerships will also provide online service bookings to their existing customers with doorstep pick-up and drop facility. In addition to this, Audi has one-upped its competitors by offering an augmented reality feature with its digital services.

Through its online channel on the company’s official Indian website, Audi will assist prospective buyers to configure their new Audi car from the comfort of their home. This includes configuring the vehicle’s exterior and interior, as well as choosing the desired equipment for the car. Additionally, customers can also explore finance options to purchase a new car. Once the booking is made, the chosen Audi dealership will contact the buyer for product demonstration, payment, documentation, & delivery of the car at their doorstep – all in a touch-free manner.

Existing Audi customers can also book a service for their vehicle on the Audi India website. Once the service is scheduled, the vehicle will be picked up and dropped as per the customer’s convenience, without any physical contact.

At the moment, Audi India has only three models on sale in India – the A6, A8 L, and Q8. The company is expected to launch BS6 versions of A4 and Q7 in the country soon. The all-new second-gen Q3 will also arrive in India later this year.
