Renault feels that your ‘Uber Pool’ service could use some improvement, that's why they have envisioned a new ‘robo-vehicle for a premium mobility service experience’. Following the EZ-GO and the EZ-PRO, Renault has showcased the EZ-ULTIMO at the Paris Motor Show.

The EZ-ULTIMO concept is an upscale ride-hailing on demand for an hour or a day kind of service. Renault says that the concept is to provide a mobile lounge with a premium experience of a hotel, resort or airline.

The concept is said to provide a premium travel experience catering to people looking for a private trip in a city, a premium tourist experience or businesses looking to offer premium journey services to its clients.

With ‘Level 4’ autonomous drive technology, Renault ‘robo-vehicle’ is connected to infrastructures and can adapt to an urban environment, to the motorway or to a shuttle service on dedicated roads. This allows new avenues in terms of the design of the vehicle, like the wide opening automatic doors and seats on swivel slides for easy passenger access. Additionally, Renault has invested in what they are calling Augmented Editorial Experience – a really immersive experience that combines personalised premium content, multi-media experiences and mobility to transform the travel time into a learning experience for the passengers.
