The VF 3, VinFast's affordable all-electric SUV, made its global debut in Vietnam in June 2023. Featuring a rugged design like the Maruti Suzuki Jimny, the VinFast VF 3 is a 'mini-eSUV' with an upright profile and a four-seat layout, making an ideal city runabout. The bookings for the electric vehicle began earlier this month and, according to VinFast, it racked up more than 27,000 non-refundable orders for the VF 3 within 66 hours of the commencement in the home country. The deliveries are expected to take place in August 2024 in Vietnam.

That much we all knew. In a breakthrough, the Vietnamese EV manufacturer VinFast has finally revealed the technical specifications of its small electric SUV. Offered in two variants – Eco and Plus – the VinFast VF 3 is equipped with a rear axle-mounted electric motor, which is tuned to produce 43bhp and 110Nm of peak torque.

Using a suitable fast charger, the battery can be charged from 10 to 70 per cent in 36 minutes.

VinFast VF 3: Will it Come to India?
