BMW M3

The all-new BMW M3 had made its debut alongside the M4 Coupe in September 2020. The new M3 is a complete – and a rather radical – departure from the older M3, which was launched in the country in 2014.
In the looks department, the M3 follows the brand’s new design language, meaning it gets a radical nose replete with huge kidney nostrils. Apart from that, however, it looks every bit as stunning as a BMW should, thanks to a nice set of alloy wheels, slim LED headlamps, LED taillamps, and a proper three-box look.
The interior of the new M3 oozes sportiness and a slight sense of opulence at the same time. The infotainment system taking the centre stage along with the HVAC controls are slightly tilted towards the driver to give it a cockpit feel. Space on the inside is also good, as the M3 can also be used as a proper four-seater sedan.
The M3 comes powered by a 3.0-litre straight-six petrol engine, which is available in two states of tune – 473bhp and 550Nm (standard) and 503bhp and 650Nm (Competition). While the latter only comes mated to an 8-speed torque converter automatic gearbox, the former also gets the option of a six-speed manual gearbox. There’s also a four-wheel-drive option. Expect BMW to bring the Competition trim of the M3 to the Indian market.
